Story

So why are we doing this for  the Huddersfield Town Foundation? People who know me know I'm not a fan of football.  This charity is more than football.

I'm not a parent myself but I have nephews and nieces I love very much and Wayne and Ritch are both parents, so we are all very committed to the health and well being of children and young people. I keep hearing too often about children the age of 4 being on diets;  of children coming to school without having eaten breakfast and many not having access to a hot meal.  I've just read today about poor children being twice as likely to be obese.  I can't imagine what some of these children are going through.

For us, it's important all children have access to good food, enjoy playing and have the opportunity to create lasting memories. Unfortunately, there are still too many who don't. Huddersfield Town Foundation is committed to improving the quality of life for young people across Huddersfield and the West Yorkshire area. They have set up healthy breakfast clubs accessed by 1000's of children.  For us, the Charity is creating long lasting projects for our next generation, so yes, we do think it's worth throwing ourselves out of a plane at 15,000 feet and free falling for a minute!!!  So, if we can do that, we're sure you can put your hands in your pockets and sponsor us!

We really do appreciate your donation, no matter how small.

Jo, Wayne and Ritch
