We support grieving children & young people to help them achieve their full potential.

Story

Over three days at the end of June a team of eight staff across the OneSavings Bank Group are taking on the challenge to visit each of our UK based offices using leg power alone. The cycle will cover over 270 miles across the endless undulations of the North Downs, starting with the branches and visiting OSB House and Reliance House in Chatham, followed by InterBay in Fareham and Prestige in Bushey.

You may have noticed we’ve skipped the Heritable office in London, this was a reluctant decision but a necessary one based on the safety of riding through London at rush hour.

We are a mixture of saddle hardened cyclists who look good in lycra and happy amateurs who would not normally be seen dead in Spandex (apart from Will on the weekend), so to say we’re all very excited about the challenge is an understatement but to say some of us are petrified is also true.

We’re doing all of this to raise money for Winston’s Wish, the company’s chosen charity and one who provide specialist support for up to 41,000 children a year who suffer a bereavement in their immediate family.

Winston’s work is invaluable for the children and families who are going through this incredibly difficult time and the little support we can provide them in this works makes the hours (hopefully)of training and sore legs and bums (definitely) all the more worth
it.

Please take the time to donate as much as you can to this dedicated and invaluable charity.

Thank you

Gavin Slater, Rachael Ramsey, Jim Brown, Richard Davis, Andrew Hogben, Richard Maycock, Matthew Evans and Will Davies
