Hi,
I am doing a charity Tandem Parachute jump for Wishes 4 Kids on July 4th 2010 at the Hinton Parachute Centre in Oxfordshire. This is my first time doing any kind of charity work. I heard of wishes4kids a few years ago but didnt really know what they did. After seeing a leaflet about this Tandem Parachute Jump i thought it would be a really good idea to do it. This made me look into more about what wishes4kids did. Wishes4kids is a charity that grants wishes to Leicestershire children 18 or younger that are terminally ill, life limited, experienced life-changing physical or emotional traumas, have suffered major abuse or are diagnosed as HIV Positive. Some of these wishes include a five year old who wanted to drive a steam train, a teenager who wanted to meet Britney Spears, three young people who had an audience with Pope Benedict XVI, a young man who wanted to spend a day fishing with Matt Hayes and a young person who wanted to take off and land on water. After reading more about this charity it made me really want to raise some money to help toward these wishes.
To take part in this parachute jump i need to raise at least £350. So with a little help from everyone i will be able to achieve this amount. If you would like to donate read the stuff below and click donate. Remember every little helps.
Thank you very much!
