Story
MND is a terminal illness that attacks the nervous system, specifically the Motor Neurones which send messages to your muscles. Around 50% of those diagnosed will die within 14 months.
Six people in the U.K. die every day from MND and there is currently no cure.
Ian Pratt has been living with Motor Neurone Disease since being diagnosed with this terminal illness in September 2012. In 2016 he formed the Ian Pratt MND Foundation and the charity has three main aims.
1. To raise awareness of Motor Neurone Disease.
2. To support those affected by MND and their families.
3. To support research into the causes and hopefully, one day, a cure for MND.
