Reading Half Marathon 2012 · 1 April 2012 ·

Diabetes UK is the charity leading the fight against the UK's devastating and fastest growing health crisis, working to create a world where diabetes can do no harm. It’s a fight that involves all of us – sharing knowledge and taking diabetes on together. Join us.

Story

I am running the Mizuno Reading half marathon on the 1st April. I will be running on behalf of Diabetes UK, a worthwhile cause that cares for, connects with and campaigns on behalf of all people affected by and at risk of diabetes: http://www.diabetes.org.uk/

As a team, we will also be raising money for The Great Ormond Street Hospital – an international centre of excellence in child healthcare. More info here: http://www.gosh.nhs.uk/about-us/who-we-are/

I won’t be going alone...

I will be running the half marathon with my good friends Daniel Lavelle, Liam Wadeson, and my younger brother, Ben Drew. As a team we aim to raise as much as possible for the two charities and we really hope YOU can join us in making the largest donation we possibly can!

Thank you for taking the time to read this. Please follow with a donation however large or small, we will appreciate any amount you are able to give and know it WILL make a difference to the people who are being supported by these fantastic organisations.

Thanks again,

Ollie
