Story
Olivia is an amazing little girl! She is only 5 years old but was determined to undertake a challenge to help raise money for Rainbows, and is walking a massive 5 miles on 27th May, and any support you are able to give her would be brilliant.
In many ways Livy is like her friends, she enjoys school, listening to music, swimming and playing with her dolls. However, Livy is a little different in that she has a little brother who is almost two with a serious brain condition which means he is blind, has many epileptic seizures and developmentally is like a newborn baby. Her brother needs a lot of specialist medical care and spends time in hospital, but Olivia never complains and does her best to help out where possible. She is truly a caring big sister who loves her little brother very much.
Olivia has stayed at Rainbows with her brother and the rest of the family and knows what an amazing place it is. William also occasionally stays there on his own so the rest of the family can take a little break, she always misses him, but is pleased that he spends time with his friends! We are so proud of Livy for being such an amazing big sister. Siblings of children with complex needs have to cope and adapt to many things, and Olivia is truly a caring and sensitive little girl who makes her family very proud.
