Story

Help us support CATs who have changed the lives of patients and families diagnosed with Tay-Sachs and Sandhoff Diseases but there's still much work to be done. The team is always assessing the community's needs and these change with time and with each patient. Plans for the near future are to offer a more tailored family support service, a service specific to supporting siblings, materials to help cope with the diagnosis and grief. We will also be reviewing a lot of the materials produced throughout the years and ensure these are up-to-date and relevant to patients and families. And of course, we will keep on working hard on our advocacy work which has seen the first clinical trials for treatments for Tay-Sachs and Sandhoff become a reality in 2020.The road is long but we are more determined and motivated than ever! Please join us!
