Story
A band of reprobates and I plan to climb to the top of England, Scotland and Wales in just 24 hours, in the hope of raising money for the Evelina Children's Hospital.
Our mountain-top tour will take in Ben Nevis,Scarfell Pike, and then Snowdon.
The total distance is estimated at some 26miles, with an ascent of 9,800ft (3,000m) and a descent of about the same!
There are rumours that our toenails could fall off and that we would, if it came to it, eat each other in an emergency.
And to cap it all, I'll be doing it with my work colleagues!
Considering all this hardship, would you do the decent thing and sponsor me?
All cash goes towards the Southwark News' campaign to raise £100,000 for Evelina Children's Hospital in a year. It's an amazing hospital and your money makes the difference between a basic service for sick kids and one that is almost second to none. Thanks to donations like yours, some children actually look forward to going.
