I just read about “Movember” and it captured my imagination as being a great way to raise awareness for cancer based mens health issues which don’t get enough press.  All funds raised in the UK support the number one and two male specific cancers - prostate and testicular cancer. The funds raised are directed to programmes run directly by Movember and our men’s health partners, The Prostate Cancer Charity and the Institute of Cancer Research which are both fantastic recognised charities in the UK.

For those that don’t know about “Movember” basically I (and millions of other men world-wide) will be growing a moustache for the full month of November. It has been said I will look like Charles Bronson (but a bit shorter), however its for a great cause so happy to oblige for a month!

It goes without saying any donations would be welcome, but I know times are hard and Christmas is approaching so if you don’t have any spare cash then please follow me on Twitter (@olivercookson) or ask your followers to follow me and for every new follower I get in November I will donate £X personally (get me to get my hand in my pocket!).

So please do whatever you can weather that is donating your hard earned cash, following me on Twitter or asking your followers to follow me on Twitter!

Its a fantastic cause which each and every one has suffered from either directly or in-directly.
