WE HAVE RAISED NEARLY £2500 FOR SANDS. We now have Chris's money in and also my Barclays colleagues and the figure is £2437.00. This is such an amazing achievement and still last bits of sponsorship to come in. Still time to donate directly using the link. I am so proud to be a part of this. xx

.......NEWS FLASH....... having been unable to complete the 3 peak challenge on the 23rd of this month, Ady and Ashley decided to take on the challenge again for the team, and I am pleased and proud to announce, they completed it in 11hrs, 40 mins in gale winds, hale and very very wet conditions. Big well done to them, technically they have done 44 miles within 2 weeks, surely that deserves supporting, and for such a good charity xxx

Yesterday, we took on the Yorkshire 3 Peak Challenge and boy what a challenge it was. Thick cloud meant visibility was v poor. Unfortunately we lost our way which cost us time and energy. We are gutted that we managed 2 of the 3 peaks but the conditions were against us. The whole team worked so hard and we are proud of everyone of them.
Thank you to everyone's support. As much as we didn't complete the 3, the effort, the conditions, the 19-22 miles that were completed makes us feel we did both Oliver and SANDS very proud xx

6th January 2011, our lives (Adrian & Helen Marsh) changed for ever. This was the day when we attended a routine scan at 22 weeks pregnant and found out our baby Oliver Marsh had already passed away.
Faced with this shocking news, we had to make lots of decisions which we never imagined we would ever have to make.
These included, whether to see him, to take photographs, to create memories, to have a baptism and to arrange a funeral.
We turned to SANDS to help us through the next few weeks, their website and advise was so valuable.
As time went on, Helen also has found support through their helpline & forums.
We have decided to raise money for SANDS so that in the future, they can reduce the number of baby deaths, but also be there to support families of those affected by the loss of a baby.
Adrian, Helen, Family & Friends are completing the Yorkshire 3 Peak Challenge on the 24th September 2011. This is a 24.5 mile walk covering 3 Peaks of North Yorkshire - Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough.
We will be completing the challenge in the name of our little Angel Oliver.
Please support us in raising money for SANDS, so that we can help other families to survive the loss of their own baby.
