Story
We are a group of gym members from the Office for National Statistics in Titchfield, Hampshire, and we are raising money for one of our neighbours.
Oliver is two-and-a-half. As a result of being born 11 weeks early, he has spastic diplegic cerebral palsy, which means he can't walk. There is a life-changing operation available called SDR, which will enable him to walk. It costs £60,000.
On Thursday 10th October 2013, 26 ONS gym members will be taking turns to keep two gym machines going non-stop for 12 hours, starting at 7am. Each person completes 15 minutes before handing over to the next. Three of the x-trainers will be strutting their stuff once an hour, for the full 12 hours. (The six x-trainers reckon they can do 60 miles; the 20 cyclists will probably beat that! Which team will you support?!)
Please help us get Oliver on his feet.
