The UltraX Wadi Rum race, 7 October 2019
This year we have launched the HALO Staff Challenge. Our staff across the world will be dreaming up epic, fun and unusual challenges to raise money for HALO, competing in a friendly rivalry to see which country programme can raise the most funds.

Story

I'll be competing in Ultra X's Wadi Rum Ultra race in October. It's a five day, staged, ultra marathon covering a total distance of 256km across the Wadi Rum desert. I will be raising money for The HALO Trust's landmine clearance work in The Nagorno Karabakh Republic.

The impact of landmines and other explosive remnants of war still litter the stunning countryside of Karabakh, effecting lives and livlihoods. HALO's work over the past 19 years has aimed to help that and with your support, we can continue this vital work.

I currently work on the programme with an amazing, committed and dedicated group of local national staff and want to make my own contribution, no matter how small.

Any and all support will be greatly appreciated.

EVERY PENNY DONATED WILL BE MATCHED BY AN ANONYMOUS DONOR .
