Participants: leaving my company and would like a charity donation instead of a leaving gift
on 27 September 2019
My last day at FutureLearn is Friday September 27th.
I don't want to be presumptuous, but it's not uncommon to have a quick whip round and ask for people to donate to a leaving gift.
Please don't buy me anything; I have everything a girl could want.
Instead, let's help the good folk at the charity www.beam.org train a homeless person, and set them up for a better future.
BEAM provides training for the homeless and supports them into work. You can read more here: https://beam.org
It's a great cause. I couldn't think of anything more apt for us FutureLearners.
