Story
Storm's Family says:
When our friend Jack found Storm neglected and dying as a tiny puppy in Afghanistan, he did the right thing and rescued her.
Nursing her back to health and hand feeding her until she was strong enough to walk.
It was at this time he messaged us to see if we would adopt her if he could get her back to the UK.
How could we say no?
This beautiful little girl has survived a war and being left for dead - she deserves a little bit of luck!
The incredible Nowzad have taken her in and ensured that she is healthy and vaccinated and are now preparing to ship her to the UK so that she can
begin her happy life in Poole with us.
From the battlefields of Afghanistan to the beaches of Poole and Bournemouth.
Having served in Afghan and seen first hand what these poor dogs endure, it will be amazing to be able to provide a happy life for one of them. Had it not been for Jack, she would have starved to death on the side of a road.
It's coming up to Christmas - help a puppy out!

If, for whatever reason, the companion animal rescue is not successful (such as disease or injury) then at the discretion of Nowzad Dogs, the funds collected via this Youcaring page will be allocated to support the vital daily operational costs of the Nowzad Dogs small animal clinic and shelter in Kabul.
The total required for a companion animal to travel to the UK is on average £5000 for a dog and £3000 for a cat (we make no profit and everything is subject to currency valuations and fuel prices on the day). We are sadly unable to offer refunds on donations.
