The 2020 Olympics might be cancelled but that won't stop us getting to Japan!

This year we aren't letting the pandemic get in our way, in place of the Great North Run we'd like to tell you about a new challenge we have set and want you all to be part of! The idea is to promote physical activity and also raise some money for this year's chosen charity, Dragonfly Cancer Trust.

The challenge is to cover the distance from Newcastle to Japan #fromthenortheasttothefareast by collectively running, cycling and walking the 5700 miles it takes to get there! Hey, who's judging, as long as you're moving and making up the miles, it counts! 

Dragonfly Cancer Trust supports young palliative patients under the age of 25, helping families create lasting memories together. The charity provides memory-making experiences, cash gifts, keepsakes and creative therapy to help young patients make each day matter with those who matter most.
