LIVES North Hykeham First Responders are all volunteers who give up their time to respond to some types of medical emergencies in our area. When you dial 999 not only will an ambulance be mobilised, but sometimes at the same time the LIVES volunteers on call in Hykeham will also receive notification that you need their help - and we aim to be with you within 6 minutes. The East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS) that serves our County is extremely busy, and these extra minutes can be vital to a patient. In extreme circumstances this could mean the difference between life and death.
We need to raise money on an ongoing basis to provide the training, medical equipment, uniform, kit bags and other supplies in order to continue providing emergency pre-hospital care to the residents in and around North Hykeham.
We raise as much as we can each year to maintain and improve our service, and your help is very much appreciated.
Could you become a First Responder?
