NDCC Century Challenge
Fundraising for Devon Mind
Story
As North Devon Cricket Club prepare for the new 2021 season we would like to invite all members, fellow cricketers and members of the public, young or old (in fact this challenge is open to anyone) to take part in the NDCC Century Challenge for our chosen charity of Devon Mind. Devon Mind is specifically important to NDCC and we as a club believe that supporting the charity is particularly important in these challenging times.
So what is the Century Challenge? Well this is up to you as an individual with hopefully a way of getting some preseason fitness in
place. A few suggestions that have been put out on the forum:
- Run a 100 miles
- Walk a 100 miles
- Cycle a 100 miles
- Swim a 100 miles
- Complete a 100 sit ups
- Complete a 100 push ups
- Complete a 100 burpees
- Complete a 100 keepie uppies (by foot or cricket bat)
- Complete a 100 ball over
- Walk the dog a 100 times
Please adhere to the Government guidelines regarding Covid 19 and stay safe at all times.
Why not also rope in other family members, we could all do with shifting some of the Xmas Turkey? Please send any pictures into Membership@ndcc.org.uk so we can use these on the club pages.
As this is for charity we have set up a JustGiving page where you can sponsor yourself or ask family and friends to sponsor you. They can add your name as a reference. Would be good as a club if we could get near a target of £2000 by the start of April.
