We stand for everyone affected by dementia to find a cure

Story

Thanks for taking time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running the Berlin Marathon in September this year and hope to raise £1000 for Alzheimer Research UK.  I have never run a marathon before so this is a big challenge for me.  My training is already underway and involves lots of early morning and evening runs.

Please help Alzheimer's Research UK if you are able to.  Every single penny donated to support my run will go direct to this wonderful charity.

Dementia is something which has had an enormous impact on my family.  My mum has Alzheimer’s.  For the past few years we have spent countless hours caring for her and trying to keep her as comfortable as possible.  I wish there was a cure.  I wish there was treatment available to give her back the life she so much loved living.

I am running to help raise money for vital research and awareness.  I am running for everybody who has a diagnosis of dementia; I am running for every family ever affected by dementia;

I am running for mum.

Your support is hugely appreciated.

Thanks

Norie
