Story
I'm delighted to confirm I successfully completed the Ride 100 in a very respectable 4 hours and 49 minutes. Whilst the course was reduced to 86 miles, due to the adverse weather, the torrential rain and strong winds made for the most challenging cycling conditions I have ever experienced.
I'm really grateful to all of you who sponsored me as your generosity spurred me on in difficult conditions. Your money will go towards making a difference to really vulnerable children so it will all have been worthwhile.
Thank you!
Noel
On 10 August 2014, I will be taking to the roads and cycling 100 miles from London to Surrey via Guildford and Leith Hill and back to raise money for victims of child crime. This is a huge personal challenge which will include over 1000 training miles.
The Embrace CVOC charity works with police forces all over the UK to help children and teenagers who, through no fault of their own, are victims of crime. They aim to be there for them, to take away the hurt, restore some normality to young lives and reassure them that other people really do care.
