Story
We're Sian & Alex, two idiots who - on the eve of the 2014 World Cup - foolishly started drawing Panini football stickers as a cost-saving measure, with the idea being to fill the *entire* 2014 World Cup sticker album (a notoriously expensive undertaking) without spending a penny.
This meant drawing over 600 doodles, in a month, despite no prior artistic experience or expertise. The drawings were utterly dreadful and it was a horrible experience for all concerned, but people seemed to enjoy our suffering, and suggested we do something similar for charity.
So, we've since done the same during Euro 2016, World Cup 2018, Women's World Cup 2019 and Euro 2020, filling sticker album after sticker album with our own wonky drawings and raising over £25,000 for various good causes. And now the World Cup is here, so the pencils are being sharpened once again...
The thing is: we're both Welsh. It's Wales' first World Cup in 64 years and we should be BOUNCING with excitement. But unfortunately our enthusiasm, and that of many other football fans around the world, is tempered by the knowledge that this World Cup is being held in Qatar, a country with a well-documented history of human rights abuses. SO, we'll be fundraising for Amnesty who do so much to shine a light on and combat such abuses.
Join us as we try and draw 670 football stickers, in a month, despite being rubbish at drawing. We have two young children and are already consistently sleep-deprived. It will be painful for us to do, and for you to look at. So please donate and make this madness worthwhile.
