Havelock Academy Residential Outdoor Centre

We need your help to raise £150,000 to create a residential education centre for the Havelock Academy.

Established in 2007, Havelock Academy provides a new kind of educational opportunity for disadvantaged children in East Marsh and Heneage, the most deprived  areas in Grimsby, North East England.

A permanent residential outdoor centre will ensure Havelock pupils have access to safe, adventurous experiences which will develop their appreciation of the balance between risk, reward and responsbility whilst forging a spirit of respect and compassion towards people and their natural environment.  The advantages of this kind of education will benefit the overall development of these students, as confidence and self-belief are built.
