Story
On Fri 29th and Sat 30th May 2015, 200 cyclists will cycle 200 miles from Chatsworth House in Derbyshire to Ampleforth Abbey in North Yorkshire. The route for the first day is 105 miles and sees a total ascent of a staggering 11700 feet! The second day is set to be marginally easier with a mere 95 mile cycle through the Yorkshire Dales and a total ascent of some 6000 feet. This is all for the educational purpose of establishing a fund to permanently finance a place at Ampleforth College for a child from an underprivileged background. It will be tough, but I have no doubt it will be a memorable challenge for a unique and worthy cause.
