Hi; anyone that knows me will have heard my ceaseless chatter about my involvement with Destination Florida, which is 1 of the most unbelievable of charities.

For those of you that haven't; Destination Florida provides "Holidays of a Lifetime for deserving children" by which is meant children with life limiting &/or life threatening conditions, terminal illnesses & many other challenging healthcare problems. I'm fortunate enough to have been on the last 7 trips, starting in 1998, as a Non-Medical Carer. 

Destination Florida is celebrating its 21st Anniversary & I want, with your help, to raise at least £2,100 toward the next trip in 2012.

I'm also doing this in celebration of Nikki & Kimmie who I had the great & most humbling privilege of getting to know, caring for & becoming friends with on my 1st & 6th trip respectively. Sadly, neither Nikki or Kimmie are alive today but neither they nor any of the other children are forgotten.

Quite simply, I know it's not much, I'm going to do my 1st 10k run on Sunday 2nd October 2011 & I'd really appreciate you sponsoring me for a minimum of £10 although you're very welcome, more than welcome in truth, to give me as much as you want!

Please do your best & know that you'll have played an enormous part in allowing at least 1 'deserving' child to be taken on the 'Holiday of a Lifetime' in 2012.
