Story

15 mile run done Sat 2nd March time:- 2hrs 12 mins

13.2 Mile run done this morning ;time 1:56

5 Marathon debutants will try to run the 26.2 Walled City Marathon on 2nd June for the Foyle Hospice a noteable a worthy charitable cause. We all have been touched in some way by the disease Cancer in some way in our lives and in 2010 Sharon Daly (my sister) died in the Hospice. The care that she received from the fantastic Nursing staff and the pastoral care she received during her final days my family and I always appreciated so much and I always said I would try to repay some day in some small way.  Sean Darcy, Niall McKnight Adrian Harley and Charlie Mitchell and I all decided that we would do the Walled City Marathon in June to reach a milestone in our lives and to raise funds for the Foyle Hospice.
