In lieu of our initial plan to do the C2C (offroad) being scuppered, we decided we still had to do a charity ride. Being a group of bike loving real ale drinkers, the Manchester to Blackpool ride, also being a local event, fitted the bill perfectly. The promise of a days riding with friends followed by a few beers in a country pub didn't require much convincing on anyones part. ;o)

Seriously though, we've all experienced at first hand the devastating effect cancer has on peoples lives, so supporting The Christie seemed like a great idea.
