Story
On the 27th October I will be jumping out of a perfectly good aeroplane travelling at 10,000 feet (1.9 miles!!!!) at which time I will be freefalling for what I'm sure will feel like a terrifyingly long time. I'll be strapped to somebody who hopefully knows exactly what they are doing and will employ a parachute at some point before bringing me safely back to earth.
So why am I doing this?? Well I'm doing this with one of my oldest friends in memory of a dear friend of his who was sadly lost this year to epilepsy. Andrew Trodden was a vibrant, funny, lovely young man who was taken from us far too soon at just 29 years old and because of that we'd like to raise as much money as we can for Epilepsy Research UK.
I hope you can all help me to raise a lot of money for a truly worthy cause, in remembrance of a lovely guy and to help support vital research into an awful condition that so often affects the young.
