Story
Hi everyone,
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Firstly, I would like to reassure you that donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
Where do I start?!!
Well, it looks like I'm going to be running 26.2 miles on April 17th next year!!!!!!!
I can hear people asking "Are you mad??" and the answer is "Yes, totally insane" but that is besides the point, I'm in and I'm doing it come cramp or shin splints!!!
It has been a dream of mine to run the London Marathon for a long time but I didn't ever really think I would actually get off my backside and make that dream happen..
I have chosen to run for MSRC for many reasons.. Mainly to show my respect to a close friend who was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis 3 years ago. She also had a dream of running the London Marathon, but unfortunately would not find this an option now..
She is an inspiration and I will be thinking of her when i cross that finish line... ( She had better be there to see it!!! )
I will also be remembering my boyfriends lovely Dad, Roy, who died last year of M.S.
Please, please dig deep and be assured that your money will be going to a very worthy charity. One which helps M.S sufferers and their families come to terms with such a devastating diagnosis and to support them in the future..
I am absolutely determined to rise to this challenge and am already training at least 4 times a week, even in the rain and snow!!! I think people in Loxton are fed up with seeing me pounding the country lanes and making them slow down in their cars to pass me..
I ran 13 miles last week and was almost dead on my feet when i finished. all I could think was, this is only halfway there!!!!!
I've still got a long way to go but I will get there..
Thankyou so much..
