We will be running the Belfast city marathon in memory of my best boy, Odhran, who fell asleep on Christmas Day. The money raised will go towards supporting the amazing work of mencap in Northern Ireland.

Mencap provided invaluable services to my angel Odhran during the 5 short years he was here. When he started Segal house nursery Odhran wasn't walking and was completely non verbal. During his time at the nursery he learnt makaton which led to him verbally communicating and was walking within 6 months. The support Odhran got, and us as a family is something that we will be eternally grateful for. 

We are trying to raise money to keep this work going so that other children and adults with learning difficulties can receive the same support we did.
