I've been shocked to learn that a mother can take a child from a good Dad and that the father has no right to contact for months or possibly years.
I believe that children should know both of their parents.
It is heartbreaking for so many great Dad's and their extended family who are missing out on a relationship with someone they love so much and missing all those precious moments of a child growing up.
Now that I'm a mother I can't imagine how painful it would be to have my daughter taken from me.
So, Craig and I are climbing a mountain and we hope that Families Need Fathers can climb a metaphorical mountain and get laws changed for equal parenting so children aren't left fatherless anymore.
