Hi everyone

As many of you will know, I am not a great runner - not sporty at all really.

However I felt I wanted to do something for the people I knew affected by cancer.

My Gaga - Monica Connelly - who died too young of a cancer that could have been cured. I wish I knew her better.

My Papa - David Burke - who suffered too long from a cancer that could have been cured. I wish he hadn't suffered

My Gran - Mary Burke - who died too soon from a cancer that could have been cured. I wish she was here today.

My Gramps - Charlie Connelly - who had a cancer that was cured. I wish this was the story more often

I have wittnessed a lot of suffering from cancer, and I am sure you have too. It affects too many people in our lives today.

I am not a great runner but I'm hoping the vision of raising money to help ease the suffering will make it all that bit easier to train
