This day (11th March) 3 years ago at 11am my world changed forever! It was the last time I would speak to my mum who had phoned to say she didn’t feel well & thought it was her heart!! Although mum made it to hospital after a cardiac arrest, her brain was severely damaged and we had the horrendous job of turning off her life support on 17th March, St Patrick’s day!! This St Patrick’s day my wonderful friends Chris, Karen, Janine & Zara will be running a 10k! Mums the reason I started running so what better way to remember mum! I should have been running too but unfortunately I’ve been out of running since the middle of January due to an infected gallbladder that saw me in hospital for 4 days & needing two courses of antibiotics! Nasty!! I had signed up to run this but my doctor confirmed on Friday that 10k is too far for my recovering body so I sadly can’t run but I am going to go and support my lovely friends & id still love to raise a bit of money to send to Revive who looked after mum so well during her stay!! This run is for my mum, the best mum in the world! Miss you xxxx
