Hey guys!.

My name is Nicola Macdonald, I'm 19 years old and I am shaving all of my hair off and all money raised is going to 'The Stroke Association'

I have chose to shave my hair off in order to raise as much money as possible for this amazing charity.  I lost my gran in 2010 because of complications of a stroke that she had in 2007.  She was such an amazing person, a true inspiration to me and everyone that knew her.  She is without a doubt my idol and if I grew up to be half a person she was then I would be doing great.

Research funded by the Stroke Association has the ultimate aim of making stroke a preventable and treatable disease, and improving the quality of life for people affected my strokes.
