3 days from now ! I will be trekking in the Arctic 🐻❄️
This will be an amazing adventure I have been raising funds for Whenyouwish Charity giving children with life threatening illnesses and their families magical wishes and memories.
Over the last two years I have been walking , training hard with a personal trainer on my core strength and endurance and with the help of all my family, friends and slimming world members ❤️ been getting to my new target of £5500!
I am so close now it’s absolutely fantastic and I can’t thank everyone enough for their support and donations
I will be posting when I am out in the arctic so keep an eye out for my progress

My Story
Someone asked me so I said yes...!
In the past I have walked the Edinburgh Moonwalk and also trekked overnight from Glasgow to Edinburgh. It felt like the right time for a new challenge and WHAT a challenge this will be.
In January 2022 I will be trekking 70km over 3 days from Rovaniemi into the Arctic Circle and finishing at the Arctic Snow Hotel. WOW! Along the way I will be undertaking various training and other challenges to help me along the way with this adventure.
I am aiming to to raise raise at least £3750 to support When you Wish Upon a Star to send an children and their families to visit this magical place. They can play in the forest among reindeer and huskies, toast marshmallows over a campfire and visit the 'real' Santa! :) Families get to enjoy time together, share magical moments and set aside thoughts and worries of hospital visits for a day. The Covid-19 pandemic is affecting all industries, including the charity sector. When You Wish Upon A Star have their Wish granting on hold, as the health and safety of the Wish children and their families is paramount. The charity has also lost valuable funds due to the cancellation of many fundraising events, including their own 30th birthday celebrations in 2020.
