Story
On the 17th September I will start my 300 mile cycling challenge through the rolling hills of Kent, across the channel, through the landscapes of France and hopefully finish in front of the Eiffel Tower on the 20th.
Written down this seems quite simple but for those of you who know me will realise this is some mean challenge. I constantly seem to have some form of 'road rash' by taking to the floor more times than staying upright and I always end up on a detour. Despite this, I still get up for more and enjoy the times I am out on the saddle preparing for what possibly is the biggest challenge of mine yet!
At the beginning of April 2014, Clive, a close family friend was taken too soon due to a horrible disease called Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. There is currently no cure for IPF and it is a condition which sadly progresses quickly. Possible new medicines through clinical trials are being developed but this is a costly and timely process.
So if you can spare any change you possibly have to help me continue my cycling journey from London to Paris, every penny donated will be a step closer for 'Breathing Matters' to raise much needed awareness about the condition and hopefully help those who are diagnosed or undiagnosed by creating medicines for those living with IPF.
Thank you or should I say "Merci!!"
