Story

4 friends, 4 charities, 4 walks on 4 islands over 4 days.
Myself, (Nicky McClymont) together with Morven Archbold, Fiona Newton & Tiina Penman are planning to do a series of walks over four consecutive days on four different islands.
First day will be a 10 mile walk on the idyllic isle of Iona.
Second day, 11.75 miles to Burg on our Beautiful home island of Mull.
Day three will see us walking 12 miles across the rugged little island of Ulva. We shall be following the route to the island of Gometra, which is an island, off an island, off an island! (Gometra is off Ulva, which is off Mull)
And finally, day four will be our longest days walking, covering 12.75 miles on the isle of Kerrera!....... Phew!

each of us has chosen a different charity to complete this challenge for;

Morven Archbold: My chosen charity is Guide Dogs, as thanks to them I have regained my independence and confidence, enabling me to take on personal challenges such as this to raise money for this life changing charity.

Fiona Newton: My chosen charity is Macmillan Cancer Support because I admire the tremendous work that they do and their care is second to none.

Tiina Penman: My chosen charity is Blind Veterans Uk, as through my dear friend Morven Archbold and together with learning through my husbands military background, I have come to understand the effect on injured armed personnel who have suffered sight loss. I am proud to say that this is also the chosen House Charity of my employer at Ugbrooke House. Blind Veterans UK is an institution assisting servicemen with vision impairment, sustained through the course of duty or otherwise, to adjust to life without vision. They offer lifelong emotional support, retrain in key life skills, aid recovery of independence and help them to discover a life beyond sight loss. In short, this is a charity that I am passionate about.

And lastly, but by no means least, myself;

Nicky McClymont: My chosen charity is Finding Your Feet, as the life changing work that they do never ceases to amaze and inspire me. They offer vital assistance to those who have suffered limb loss, or loss of limb function, supporting the individual and their families, emotionally, practically and in some circumstances, financially. Ultimately, this incredibly worthwhile charity, help those affected to find their feet.

Please support us in our challenge by sponsoring us through 1, 2, 3, or, if you are feeling exceptionally generous, all 4 of our chosen charities, then further help us by spreading the word and encouraging your friends and family to donate to.

Thank you, it means a lot to us, and a great deal more to each of our charities.
