Hi, As some of you know, i ran in the Liverpool Marathon last year to raise money for Clattabridge Oncology, after a close memeber of my family fell ill. This year i am running for my son Luke and to raise money for the Wirral Autistic Society, Family Support Services. My 6 year old son Luke was diagnosed in March this year with Aspergers (Autism). The Wirral Autistic Society have been very supportive helping us understand Lukes world and how we can make it a less scary place for him. I have now completed a course with the Wirral Autisic Society which has made a real difference in understanding Luke and how to support him!! I am amazed how much i didn't know or understand about this complex condition, It leaves me wanting to know as much as i can so i can help Luke and others like him. To keep these courses going which are free and to continue to help families like myself, funds are needed. The Wirral Autistic Society Family Support Services do many things not just courses, it provides restbite for families when it gets to much, trips, craft workshops just to mention a few and the majority of this is free of charge. Weather it's a £1 or more it will help so much to keep this wonderful service going, keep the support much needed, keep the hope and keep a lot of happy faces going :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) keep the smile and thank you :-) xxx
