On Thursday 17 December, Liz is having her breast cancer operation.  I know that you will want to join in wishing her all the best for a speedy recovery.

To aid that recovery and send her strength on that day, we are hoping that you might join us to use the opportunity to raise some funds for Marafiki Trust.  Rather than sending flowers and cards, Liz is hoping that you might make a donation, and perhaps wear pink and/or one of her wedding knitted flowers. (You are welcome to pick one up from Liz's porch if you haven't already got one).  Please take a picture with your flower and send to Emily Wagstaffe on 07876 218266. She is going to make a card collage.  I am hoping that you will also write a message of support and encouragement on this site. Wouldn't it be wonderful if she were to come round after the operation to a rush of messages and donations? 

It has been a tough few weeks for her since her diagnosis.....so hopefully this will raise her spirits somewhat.
