I decided to raise awareness and funds for Breast Cancer Care WA as they were a major support network for my sister after her diagnosis in Oct 2013.  

As October is also Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I want to encourage other women to check their breasts regularly and to be aware of any changes, if they are unsure get it checked out immediately.  

The charity provides counselling, support and information in each stage of the journey from diagnosis to recovery and I am forever grateful for how much this has helped my sister. Thankfully she is now recovering and doing well.
