Story

I have always wanted to run a Marathon - it is a life goal . Growing up in Blackheath, I was a spectator at the first London Marathon in 1981, as it starts in Greenwich Park and on Blackheath. I have watched it over the years, at various points along the route and have cheered friends and strangers on with great admiration.

I have only been running for 4 years and have completed a few half marathons, so to be given the chance to run in this full marathon is a real challenge, but one that I am up for!

Breast cancer is a disease that has affected many people close to me, including my mum. Too many women, and even men are affected by it. Breast Cancer Now is a charity that is close to my heart and I hope you will help me to raise money for this great cause.
