As a mother of two, I can't imagine how I would cope if one of my children were diagnosed with a life-threatening or terminal illness.  Rainbow Trust is a children's charity dedicated to supporting families who are going through this terrible time by providing emotional and practical support from diagnosis, throughout treatment to bereavement or recovery and beyond.  They estimate that they are only able to help one in ten of the families who need them as they rely almost entirely on donations and the generosity of people like you, but they need more funding for their invaluable work.

That's why I'm running in the Great Manchester Run for Rainbow Trust. 

If you can make a donation, however small, it will really help to make a difference, as well as spurring me on to sprint past Old Trafford before I cause any criminal damage!
