Queen Eleanor Cycle Ride 2022 · 26 August 2022 to 29 August 2022 ·

The annual QECR will take place over the August Bank Holiday weekend to raise funds to support homeless and vulnerable people in central London. There are options designed to reflect cycling ability and to reflect the COVID guidelines in place.

Story

The Connection at St Martins is with people as they recover from life on the streets and move on to meaningful, fulfilling futures and a place to call home. They do this by tackling the underlying causes of rough sleeping as well as offering practical help. They work with people, not for them, and put every individual person at the centre of their recovery. As part of St Martin-in-the-Fields, they have been on the frontline helping people in crisis for over one hundred years, right in the heart of Westminster which has more people sleeping rough than anywhere else in the UK. During the pandemic, when they had to change how they delivered services to keep their staff and clients safe, they supported over 1,100 people on their journey away from homelessness.
