Run to Remember, 1 December 2013
We help children who've lost someone close to access opportunities for the future

Story

Last September in Manchester two unarmed Police Officers, Nicola Hughes and Fiona Bone, were shot and killed following a routine burglary call.

The PC Nicola Hughes Memorial Trust has been set up in the wake of this tragic event, raising money for her family’s three chosen charities:

North West Police Benevolent Fund

Care of Police Survivors (COPS)

Victim Supportt

From Sunday 1st December 2013 until  Saturday 5th April 2014, I will be taking part in the RUN TO REMEMBER challenge, runnin 250 miles over the 125 days, aiming to raise £100 for the PC Nicola Hughes Memorial Trust.

The RUN TO REMEMBER challenge is timed to finish the same week as Bryn Hughes (PC Nicola Hughes’ father) embarks on the amazing challenge of the North Pole Marathon for the same cause.

Any donations would be greatly appreciated.

Nic xx
