We provide help and hope to everyone living with dementia.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Friday 15th May, I have decided to take on a truly unique challenge.  I will be climbing Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales.  I will be climbing under the cover of darkness, led by only torch and moonlight to reach the summit.

This is an amazing opportunity to take on a tough trekking challenge at night, whilst helping to change the lives of people with dementia in the UK.

My motivation to do this challenge was simple – my Nan Vera. My nan has dementia and is in nursing care. My nan is my idol and my role model and watching her deteriorate has been really hard.  The selfless support and care given to my nan has been an immense help and relief.  I am also surprised by quite how many people had been affected by Dementia, which just made it even more important that I raise as much money as I could.
