My name is Nicky Kriel and I plan to drive solo from Cape Town in South Africa to Kampala, which is just above the Equator in Uganda, and then back to Cape Town. The countries that I'm visiting are South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Malawi, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Eswatini, and Lesotho. As a responsible tourist, I want to make sure that I give back to the communities that I will visit and I am thrilled to be raising money for Self Help Africa to support economic growth in rural Africa.

I have spent the last twelve years teaching businesses to use social media more strategically, speaking and training worldwide. I have also written two books on social media. I will be vlogging and blogging about my journey sharing wonderful sights and about amazing people that I meet along the way.
