Story
Freya has wanted to chop all her hair off for this charity for some time now. At 9 years old she's so young I had to be certain that it was really what she wanted to do. She said to me the other day after me asking for the millionth time if she was sure....
'Mum, there are children out there that need my hair more than I do'. and that just confirmed it for me. She was really ready.
So not only does she want to cut all her beautiful hair off she also wants to raise some money for the charity too. It costs over £500 to make just one wig so anything we can raise to help would be amazing. It's a pretty big thing for such a young child to do so I hope we can count on our family and friends support if you are able.
The big chop is happening on the 26th August with my friend and hairdresser Louise doing the big chop for us. So in exactly 3 weeks time!! I will of course take video and pictures.
One of Freya's close friends battled with cancer and lost all her hair at such a young age. And although this strong little girl didn't come into our lives until after her hair grew back, Freya has seen pictures which made it all the more real.....
She's been growing her hair in preparation for the cut for the last couple of years. I think she will look super cute with her new bob hair cut!
Thanks for reading and for your support. Please share the page as much as possible!
