Story

This year il be doing it for the kids, as a parent I could not possibly imagine what it must be like to go through such an event as so many parents & their children do, so I've decided to put myself through some mind & body challenges to help make a difference, The Major Series, Scott 75km MTB Marathon & The 3 Peaks, please read the story behind the charity in mind & happended to a friend & his son.

Alfie Flynn Mullen, was born 16 weeks premature and weighed only 1lb 9oz. Alfie spent the time he was with us in-between St Marys ICU, Whiston Hospital and Alder Hey. Whilst between these hospitals we experienced first-hand the struggles that children, parents and hospitals face on a daily basis. For example, the lack of facilities available for a parent to stay close to their child overnight or the struggle to arrange transportation to transfer a child from one hospital to another…
