Story
Thanks for visiting my just giving page. As many of you know I have stupidly agreed to run the London Marathon this year (perhaps not in line with the strictest definition of running!) This is my second and last marathon having been 'persuaded' due to a combination of sheer stupidity and the chance to run for a really good cause.
I am running the London Marathon to raise money for Children with Leukaemia, which many of you know is a cause close to my family and one that I am hoping to raise a minimum of £1,000 for.
Leukaemia affects 500 children every year and very sadly the incidences of childhood leukaemia are increasing.
The money you donate will not only help fund further research into the causes, treatment and prevention of childhood leukaemia, but will also go towards funding welfare projects which help families and children going through the stress of treatment. Plus you have the added benefit of witnessing an unfit 30 year old struggle round the streets of London.
More details of the charity can be found at http://www.leukaemia.org/home
Thank you for your donation it is really appreciated and will certainly help me to battle my way round.
