Nick was a very successful and innovative businessman and a keen sportsman (mostly sailing and skiing). Nick loved that these things involved teamwork with everybody being treated equally regardless of gender, ethnicity, disability, religion, etc. He could not abide, and actively opposed, bullying or abuse in all its forms at work or in personal relationships; resulting in his support for the aims and work of White Ribbon Scotland and Women's Aid. As a strong successful woman who has friends who have experienced different forms of domestic violence Nick's wife Luba feels the same. Luba and Nick have worked with their sons to help them understand the importance of taking responsibility for their own actions. This is the basis of the aims of White Ribbon Scotland as it seeks to involve men in changing the attitudes and behaviours which tend to condone violence against woman. By promoting gender equality White Ribbon Scotland (which Nick's father supports in the role of Trustee) believes that men and women can together successfully address violence against women.

Nick's family thank you for your support at this time and invite you to celebrate Nick's life by making a donation to White Ribbon Scotland.

Thank you.
