Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This campaign is to raise both the profile of the Cavell Nurses Trust and funds for their work.

In June last year I completed the Three Peaks challenge (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon) as a first step. Then in October four Cavell ambassadors organised a talk by Doug Scott, the famous mountaineer, in Aldbourne. In August I climbed Mount Edith Cavell (11,000 feet) in the Canadian Rockies, along with a number of other Cavell Ambassadors, to commemorate her life and legacy on the 100th anniversary of her death. Quite snowy and steep. I funded the actual trip myself so your donation goes solely to the Trust.

On 10th October we held a very successful First World War Music Hall evening in Aldbourne as a finale, raising just over £7,400 for the Trust.

That's it for now. This page will be closing soon so if you want to make a donation, now is your chance.
