I am a keen skier and over the past few years have spent an increasing amount of time away from the resort runs, ski touring and experimenting with ski mountaineering.  The Patrouille des Glaciers is a daunting challenge with 4,386 vertical metres to climb over 57.5 km.  

Covid 19 has impacted all walks of life and has placed a massive strain on the mental health of many healthcare workers who have shown great courage in extraordinarily difficult and stressful circumstances caring for those suffering with Coronovirus.  It is a great honour to be asked to join this project and raise funds for the Intensive Care Society and Doctors in Distress. 

So many families have been touched by our courageous healthcare workers.  I hope you will be able to support me in raising funds to help those in need of assistance that these two great charities can provide.

Zermatt to Verbier 2022 is in aid of both Doctors in Distress and the Intensive Care Society. All funds raised will be split equally between the two charities at the end of April 2022.
